The Opposite of Football Perfection

Jack and I coming down a slide in our Kansas City Chiefs' jerseys is probably some sort of metaphor for the end of the Chiefs' sorry football season.

My first haircut. The mullet is dead. Long live the mullet.

We Don't Need No Stinkin' Blinking

This is Buzz. He is a good friend and the inspiration for my blog. Even though Daddy says my blog has had 117 viewers and Buzz's has had 107, we can still see eye-to-eye. (Besides, I can' t count past fifteen.)

A Sense of Style

I told Daddy that my shovel and hat matched.

What's a Boy to Do?

It seems like I start my Christmas shopping later and later each year.

As they say, you should see the other guy.

Bath Time!

Tonight we asked Finn if he wanted to bathe alone, with Mommy or with Daddy.

"All people!" he exclaimed.

(Tonight's picture was not suitable for Internet distribution.)

Switch!

I thought Daddy's chocolate chip ice cream was better than my vanilla.

Secret Shame

My friend Keefer gave me four boxes of hand-me-downs that originally came from his cousins, Jacob and Noah. I love new, used clothes.

My secret shame? I am wearing 4 pairs of coecas. (That is Portuguese for underpants.)

Put Me In, Coach

The Thanksgiving Day touch football game is a big deal.

I'm ready to play....

...almost.

Turkeys Trot

Dad said if Thanksgiving Day was warm this year, that I could join him and Mom at the Gobble Gobble Gobble running race. There weren't as many turkeys as I expected, but we did spot a few.

Here I am doing a turkey impersonation with Daddy's gloves on my hands.

I couldn't stay in my jogging stroller for the entire day. As Daddy says, "Turkeys may trot, but runners must run."

Good, Better, Best

Last night we had a big party at my house. My friends Seth and Maya were there. Last time they came over their parents found them both naked in one of our showers. I thought that was the sign of a successful party.

This party was even better. We did puzzles, Lego and lots of exploring the house. Maya liked to carry me around and call me "Honey." I cried when they had to go. I heard later that Maya cried too when she got in the car and Seth told his parents, "That was my idea of a good time."

Boys bounce back pretty fast after their "honey" leaves. After they left I moved in for a good night kiss with Zoe.

After all that, there was only one place left for me to go.

Disposable Thumbs

Last night at dinner, Halley said that it was our thumbs that helped us evolve differently than animals. Opposable thumbs let us use tools, like forks.

Opposable? Disposable! I like reverting to my animal instincts. (I call this my Crazy Boy picture.)

You Decide

Pretty much everywhere I go, people say I look just like my Mommy. Especially those who knew my Mommy as a little girl. Do you see a resemblance?

Call me crazy, but sometimes I can look just like my Daddy did as a little boy.

Over Board Phobia

My mom was really worried that I would fall overboard on the boat trip. She made me wear my swimming belt when on the open deck and made Dad promise to jump in after me if I fell in.

Don't worry, Dad, I can take care of myself.

Cock Fighting

I was introduced to Beach Chicken Fighting.

No surprise who won.

Who is the Cracker?

All I know is I am the one in the Spiderman outfit.

Dancing the Night Away

Our moms went to bed pretty early on this trip so we kicked things up on the Lido deck without them. Jack strummed while I improvised the Mexican Hat Dance.

Cruising with the Big Boys

I went on a cruise to Mexico this past week to celebrate my Grammie's birthday. Even though it was our first cruise, my cousin Jack and I both brought the appropriate cruise wear. Jack hit the beverage bar a little harder than I did, however.

Oh Happy Day (and Night)

My Mamay is having a special birthday, so I thought I would show her my life since I turned two last week. Maybe she will have the same fun I have been having.

I got a new bed. My last bed only had bars on the side, but this one has bars all over. Dad says this is 'progress.' So far I am a big fan of progress.

As I said, I turned two last week. Mom said that meant I could invite both my girlfriends to my party. It was more fun than I thought.

This is Rachel. She is my school girlfriend. (I am the spidey boy on the right.)

This is Maeve. She is my neighbor girlfriend (and a pink Power Ranger.)

Dad says I can't vote until I am 18 so I guess I will have at least two girlfriends until then.

Some kids have swings or other toys in their yard. I have a big dirt pile. It makes for a pretty good slide and super hero hangout.

Last weekend I got to go visit my big brother, Chris. He is at a place called 'college.' College is a lot like being me. His room was messy, just like mine is after I play in it. He also dresses up like I do. While no spider man, I thought his outfit was pretty cool.

I had the best night of my life last night. I got to dress up like Spider Man (which I do most every day), but then went 'trick or treating.' The night started a little rough when I fell backwards down the first flight of stairs. Good thing I was Spider Man or it might have hurt. I got two super balls (what else would a super hero deserve) and lots of sweets. My tribe and I hit lots of houses, beginning with mine where we had a pizza party.

I have to go to bed now, but I hope you have a good birthday. I will keep posting if you keep reading. (Remember to wish when you blow out your candles.)
